Having learned a few things about IT and HTML whilst in my former teaching career, I have started to use these skills, not only to develop my own website, but also for others within the world of wellbeing and social initiatives. After several requests. I have now set up the facility to offer this on a wider basis and and can offer modern, stylish and economical solutions for website design.
If you want something that gets your message across and allows your target market to find out more about your products and services, I might be the person to help you. I have put together a few of the commonly asked questions and answers below; feel free to get in touch if you have others: [email protected]
Q: How much does a website cost?
A: I am offering a simple pricing structure of £150.00 for a single page website, with extra pages charged at £50.00 per page. The annual hosting fee will be £20.00 per website and any charges for registering your domain name would be extra (charged at cost).
Q: Can I see some of your work?
A: Yes, of course! Apart from my own site here, why not have a look at the work that I have done for the following organisations:
- Codsall Therapy Centre
- French with Nicole
- Bilbrook Initiatives Hub
- The Living Legacy Social History Project
Q: Can you help me with design ideas?
A: Yes! I have a resource that allows you to choose a range of styles and layouts to suit you.
Q: Can I use my own logo?
A: I can use your existing logo design or can provide a design service (at a reasonable additional cost).
Q: Can I host a webshop/e-commerce site with you?
A: Probably not, as these will require regular maintenace and updating, to reflect you current stock levels. However, I can recommend someone that can help though!
Q: Can you help with content, grammar and spelling?
A: My background in teaching has given me the ability to communicate clearly, as well as a good eye for detail and spotting errors, so we could work together to come up with something that reflects you and your business.
Q: How long will it take to get a website up and running?
A: Good question! As soon as we have registered your domain, I can generate a 'holding page' to keep people up to date. Usually, a week or two later, we can have worked through and tested the website, before going 'live'.
Q: Can I edit the site once it is up and running?
A: I will need to make changes for you and, within reason, I am happy to do this. If you do want to be more hands on, then companies like Wix or Squarespace will allow you to tinker to your heart's content!
